Woodlands Intermediate School Snowmen
In January, third- and fourth-graders made snowmen by covering plastic bottles with papier-mache, which they then painted white. The snowmen's outfits and faces were created using buttons, fabric and ribbon scraps, stick-on googly eyes, and marker. Some wear caps made from the toes of old socks.

Third Grade Castles
I read to the children from a book about castles, then students drew their own castles and completed the pictures with watercolors.
Shawnee Second Grade Snowmen
After I read the class "Snowmen at Night," the students used chalk on dark paper, with crayon for details, to create these lively, personable snowpeople, smiling and even dancing in the moonlight.
